#18 what's the rush?

In the original source material for Romeo and Juliet, they meet around Christmas and marry around Easter. Do you think it was a good idea for Shakespeare to speed things up so dramatically? Explain your thoughts in a approx five sentences

some productions of Rmeo and Juliet  omit Rosaline entirely as her role in the story does not cast Romeo in a positive light....what would you do...leave her subplot in or take it out?...explain your reasoning in a minimum of five sentences

William Shakespeare was born in a small town in the English countryside. His family was not very wealthy and he was educated at the local school. In school, he would have studied many subjects unfamiliar to students of today. There are many theories regarding Shakespeare’s sudden departure to the big city and the home of its famous ever monarch.

Once in London, Shakespeare adjusted to the big city and went about his business of writing and trying not to cause offense to any groups of people. He moved from job to job but settled down to work as a playwright in his new home.

your thoughts/responses:......both had pigs............... both had illusions................. groups of people separated from the world.......both have a "beast"....................both have forests................both have leaders..................people were hurt/attacked in both...........the "BEASTS" were "HUMAN"................both had "off-limits" areas because of the beast................both had people with vision problems.............both had people seeking civilization / escape.........................both offered sacrifices to the beast............both had a sound (s) that told them what to do................both societies were about control (and escaping control).................both group were very fearful.............both had a truly innocent (all-knowing) character...........jealousy is a prominent theme................both had public meeting places................both leaders worried about the future.........both worried about being civilized and not savage............
